When you think of brands killing the streetstyle game a few brands come to mind but for me undoubtedly Tommy Hilfiger and their Tommy Jeans range have been very consistent. The range which pays homage to the old school Tommy collection that we used to see the likes of Aliyah rocking. The pieces remind of us the days of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and the cool style we used to see Will rocking in the show.
The use of colours, patterns and oversized sizing has created a streetstyle range thats loud enough that regular Joes and seasoned Streetstyle aficionados alike can really appreciate. The Tommy Jeans collection is also about culture, art, music. It made sense when Sofar Sounds decided to host a gig with Tommy Hilfiger and have some of Ireland’s talented artists there to perform in a very intimate much sought after gig.
I was very lucky to get invited to the gig and to be allowed to pick out some pieces to wear on the night.
I went for this oversized long line Tommy Jeans print sweater that’s very Fresh Prince of Bel Air esque, these white Tommy Jeans printed sneakers and to finish it off this uber cool reversible Puffer Jacket which I so happened to be gifted a few days before by Ej Menswear the Sofar Sound gig (what are the odds right).
Below is a quick shoot I did with the pieces along with a jumper from Tommy Hilfiger I had been previously gifted.
A few of the Tommy Pieces mentioned above are on sale at the so go online or pop into the Graton Street store if you like them.
